I really hope it's not true that Beauty Private Kitchen will be cut due to poor ratings. People were blaming Zheng Shuang, as if she alone was responsible for the whole drama...grrrr...
Basically it is not a problem from her, it is the whole directing.. the story is floating left and right with no designate anchor, revolving around ZS, her supposed brother, her mother, the prince, prince wife, even the enemy and also supposed threat to the prince. Very unfocused as if trying to digest everything at once. If your title is Beauty Private Kitchen, it would be obviously focusing on ZS and her journey. Maybe the drama is filmed with not her intention in mind as it is earlier, and all sudden ZS is commodity... Director is in the bind.
